VS
2011
This digital painting is somehow S2 revisited, but with the characters dressed like Chun-li and Dhalsim, from Street Fighter.
Mandala
2011
The mini-gods of deusmoleque collective gathered in a mandala. Sketched entirely by hand, then digitally colored. Like other deusmoleque drawings, I kept the pencil's rough contour.
Conto
2009
This short story is about the strange coincidences that led me to know the work of Sun Ra and his multi-named Arkestra. It also goes trough the origins of the Rkt9 nick. Since Rocket comes from the pulp character Rocketeer, I intented to ressemble the comic books from the 80's merging it with Sun Ra's "afro-space" iconography.
Design-projeto mutante
2009
Design - projeto mutante was my College Degree Project. The project itself was design a book that would be published on paper and on the internet, and try to explore the features of each medium. The printed book contains 15 distinct capital letters, 14 chapter ilustrations, all hand-drawn. Is composed on Caslon and Museo on the titles. The front and back covers with BOPP lamination and drawings on UV varnish.
But the real thing about this book is that I wrote it. You can read its PDF version, SWF version, or check out my blog.
Mania de Cão
2009
Some ilustrations made for Mania de Cão, a website about pets, while I was working at Kaerea.

Grafitti
2008
Deusmoleque and our friends Burcabitela were invited to ilustrate BetaID's outside wall. It was really fun!
The main idea of the picture came from a sketch I made, trying to make some animal-looking machines.
S2
2008
Here I tried to explore diferent proportions and shapes on the characters. It's also my first illustration only in vector.
Paleolitcut
2008
This is a pre-historical throwing knife concept, for College. The chalenge was to design a cutting tool for paleolithic men and their needs. See instructions below
Also was my first attempt on realistic digital painting.
Balaio Filosófico
2007
Balaio Filosófico was not really a workshop. It was more like an experiment. Several people gathered only by the "philosophic" title, talking about each one's own perspectives about design and philosophy, art, life, academy and many other subjects. It was presented at the 17th NDesign, a students meeting. I was also invited to talk at one of the evening's discussions.
Deusmoleque
2007
Deusmoleque was me and my friends Antonio "Netinho" Neto and Pedro Oliveira. Our collective was about fun and learning. Together we made some work but also spread some of our ideas, presenting workshops around the country.
These rough colored-pencil clouds became our mark.
Cosmofolia
2007
Group of mascots for deusmoleque collective. They are allusions to gods and deities of different cultures, imagining their childhood. The red-one was considered the most charming
Café Tipográfico
2007
This typographic breakfast was a serie of photos we take to display Pedro's very tasty type-faces, Docinha and Fornida.
ERERP
2007
ERERP was a Public Relations students meeting. Deusmoleque was comissioned to design it's visual identity, and we ended up with this litlle fellow.
Som é Design?
2007
In this workshop, we discussed sounds and music under a semiotic perspective. We tried to show the importance of sound on traditional design projects and the project methodologies applied to sound design. This was deusmoleque's first workshop, but I think it was a great start. If you are interested, Pedro went on with the idea, and you should see his work.
ZippeR
2005
Zipper was a work I made in my 1st year at College. The subject was to work with this spooky white bag in digital media. What I did was to create a sensorial navigation, where the “player” had to explore the photos by listening to sounds and weird behaviors of the mouse to interact with the images, changing them and discovering new ones.
This work was selected for FILE São Paulo - 2006 and FILE Rio - 2007.
